“A Century for Change“- Sept. 25, 2021
Come join Carmel’s own Guinness World Record holding cyclist Dave Schweikert as he rides 100 miles on a Buffalo Bike! Buffalo Bikes are specially designed by World Bicycle Relief. They are used by teachers, healthcare workers and others in rural Africa; connecting them with education, healthcare and economic opportunities.
Ride for a mile, or for all 100, as we celebrate the simple joy of riding a bike, while Changing Lives Through the Power of Bicycles. The suggested donation is $1 per mile, but everyone is welcome. You can also experience riding the Buffalo Bike yourself.
The first 50 participants will receive a goody bag from Dave and sponsors. Registration not required, but you can indicate your interest in joining on the Facebook event page.
A Century for Change starts at 730am on September 25 from Carmel’s Midtown on the Monon, and proceeds on a lap of Indianapolis. An approximate schedule will be published closer to the event, for those that want to join mid-ride.
