Bikes

I’ve been fortunate to ride the best components in the bike industry.  Here are most of the bikes I’ve owned and ridden in the past 10 years.

My latest rides- including the GPS drawing Guinness World Record- are on a Lynskey titanium:

For several years, Wilier Cento 10NDR served as both daily commuter and ultracycling bike of choice.  Shown here equipped with SRAM Force eTap AXS, Zipp 404 & 808 NSW Disk Brake Tubeless wheels, and Zipp Vuka aerobar extensions:

Along US Bike Route 35 between Petosky & Charlevoix in beautiful northwestern Michigan on my 2018 WBR “Insanity to Inspire” ride

My first road bike, a Specialized Sequoia that I rode for 30,000 miles; equipped with SRAM Rival drivetrain and Zipp 60 wheels as my daily commuter

Bike Friday Pocket Rocket, purchased to ride while living in China and has been ridden in many countries

My first carbon bike, a Wilier Gran Turismo equipped with SRAM Red drivetrain and Zipp 404 wheels

the same Wilier Gran Turismo as above, upgraded to SRAM Red eTap and 404 Firestrike wheels. This photo was on one of my mountain training rides for TDSU17

The photo above was also Bike Rumor’s picture of the day on June 9, 2017:
